Cancellation & Refund Policy

1100% Free Date & Time Rescheduling

If your house possession is delayed, family members are unable to attend, or you wish to shift to a more favorable Shubh Muhurat:

• You may reschedule your ceremony to any upcoming date within 6 months at ZERO penalty or rescheduling fees.
• We request notice at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled time so our Shastri can reallocate the time slot.
• Acharya Abhishek Sastri will recalculate fresh auspicious Muhurat options for your family at no additional fee.

2Standard Dakshina: Paid Upon Completion

For standard residential bookings, our traditional practice is that Dakshina is paid directly upon successful completion of the ceremony.

Because no advance dakshina is locked in standard home visits, if you cancel before the Shastri departs for your venue, you incur no financial charge whatsoever.

3Advance Token Dakshina & Refund Process

In rare high-demand wedding dates or multi-day temple anushthans where a voluntary token advance was deposited to reserve Shastri dates:

• Cancellation 48+ hours prior: 100% full refund of the token amount without deductions.
• Cancellation 12–48 hours prior: 100% credit transferred to any future ceremony of your choice, or 80% refund processed immediately.
• Refund Speed: All approved refunds are transferred via original payment method (UPI / Bank transfer) within 24 to 48 business hours.

4Custom Samagri & Physical Material Costs

When a devotee books a full package that includes a physical Samagri Kit:

• Dry herbs, brass items, and re-usable puja utensils incur zero loss upon cancellation.
• In the rare instance where bespoke perishable goods (fresh customized floral mandap garlands, specific perishable sweet bhog items) have already been procured, only actual vendor receipts for perishable materials will be accounted for; the Pandit dakshina remains fully waived.

5Emergencies & Compassionate Exceptions

In the event of unforeseen personal emergencies, sudden illness, family bereavement, or severe weather conditions (e.g. torrential Bangalore waterlogging or road blockages), normal notice windows are completely relaxed. We prioritize your family well-being above all procedural guidelines.
